In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter “GDPR”), the following General Data Privacy Policy regulates the processing of personal data requested or obtained by DSpublicidad (hereinafter, «DSpublicidad») as a consequence of your registration on our website through the standard registration form.

This policy contains important information about the processing of your personal data as well as your related rights. If you have any questions or need clarification, you may contact us as described below.

This Privacy Policy explains how DSpublicidad (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and shares personal data when you use our website and related services. This policy includes important information about our use of Google / YouTube APIs, user rights, and how to revoke access and request deletion of data.

The data you provide must be true, accurate, complete, and up-to-date. You are responsible for any direct or indirect damages that may arise from failing to comply with this obligation. Our website and the services offered therein are not intended for persons under 18 years old. WHAT WILL WE DO WITH YOUR DATA?

  • Manage your registration: Complete registration, control user access, and manage our relationship with you.
  • Send commercial communications: Only if you consent, we use your data for marketing communications.
  • Provide a personalized service tailored to your profile, location, preferences, and tastes.
  • Define user typologies, segmentations, and profiles, and improve services via analysis.
  • Show editorial or commercial info specifically designed for your profile. Some profiles may be inferred from device location with your authorization.
  • Design new services that may interest you.
  • Manage incidents and maintenance of our services.
  • We use the YouTube Data API v3 only with explicit user consent (OAuth scopes requested during sign-in).
  • Data from Google APIs is used only to provide and improve DSpublicidad services (profile enrichment, recommendations).
  • You can revoke Google access at any time and request deletion of your stored data.
  • The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other application will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

MAY WE SEND YOU MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS?

DSpublicidad may send informational, commercial, and marketing communications via email or other channels if you consent. You may revoke this consent anytime by emailing dpo@dspublicidad.com with the subject “Exercise of GDPR rights: unsubscribe from marketing communications” and attaching valid ID. Revocation does not affect registration management.

WHAT DATA DO WE REQUEST AND HOW DO WE PROCESS IT?

Data we collect may include:

  • Full name
  • Current employer and job position
  • Email address

We may also process data from social networks with your consent, following their policies. For Google/YouTube, we use your public subscriptions, playlists, and basic channel/video metadata (with explicit consent) to infer interests and generate personalized recommendations.

Data is used to manage registration and access, build interest profiles, power personalized recommendations, improve and secure services, and, if consented, send marketing communications.

USE OF GOOGLE / YOUTUBE API SERVICES

We use the YouTube Data API v3 under the Google API Services User Data Policy. Data is used solely for DSpublicidad features and is not sold or used for advertising outside these purposes. Access scopes are minimized to what is strictly required.

Data caching: recommendation data is cached 6–24 hours. Nightly synchronization refreshes user profiles. Deletion on revoke/request: revoked Google access or deletion requests remove data from active systems within 24h and backups within 30 days.

Default data retention: up to 5 years for account-related data unless deletion is requested or law requires otherwise.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

  • Manage registration/account: consent given during registration.
  • Send commercial communications: consent given explicitly.
  • Processing may also rely on contract performance or our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, platform improvement).

DATA SHARING WITH THIRD PARTIES

We may share data with trusted third-party providers under GDPR-compliant contracts, including Standard Contractual Clauses if outside the EEA. These providers include hosting, analytics, and payment processors. We do not transfer data for advertising beyond consented purposes. DSpublicidad may disclose data to comply with legal obligations.

YOUR RIGHTS

  • Confirm if we process your personal data.
  • Access, correct, delete, or restrict your data.
  • Object to processing for marketing, including profiling.
  • Request data portability when processed automatically.
  • Withdraw consent anytime without affecting lawful prior processing.
  • File a complaint with the relevant Data Protection Authority.

To exercise your rights or request deletion of data (including YouTube API data), email dpo@dspublicidad.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include a valid photo ID.

REVOKE GOOGLE ACCESS

Users may revoke DSpublicidad access to their Google account at any time via Google Security settings:

  • Visit https://myaccount.google.com/security
  • Under “Third-party apps with account access” / “Manage third-party access”, find DSpublicidad and click Remove access.
  • Alternatively, email dpo@dspublicidad.com with subject “Revoke Google access” and we will assist and confirm deletion.
